Grow Strong in Family

Scripture:
Psalm 127:1-5 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, Toiling for food to eat for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.”
Observation:
God needs to be the center of all we do! Without God all of our hard work is for nothing. Life will be full of hardships and turmoil. We will be tired and without rest. Our home needs to be a place filled with love for God and our children need to be looked at as blessings from God! We need to give all children love and guidance to instill the love for Christ in them.
Application:
As the wheel diagram has shown us, our faith is at the center of all that we do. The Lord is the foundation that we need to build on. Surround yourself with equally yoked, God loving people and share your love for Christ with those who are lost. Work hard and give praise for the rest the Lord grants you. For you are loved!
Request:
Heavenly Father, thank you for being the cornerstone, the rock that my life has been built upon! Lord, I ask that you watch over and guard all your precious children near and far. Lord, I am blessed with your presence in my life and the peace that you bring. I pray that all the ISI Men and Women welcome you to be the cornerstone and steadfast rock in their lives. In your name I pray, Amen.
