Faith

Rather than Faith being just another spoke in our wheel of life, we believe that Faith should rest at the center of our lives. In its proper place, our relationship with God properly informs and impacts every other area of our life.

Key Verses:

  • Matthew 22:37-39: And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

  • Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Finance

God has provided each of us resources to provide for our families, further His work in the world and build a legacy for the future. We are His stewards.

Key Verses:

  • Matthew 6:19-21: Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

  • Proverbs 11:24-25: One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

Faculty

Each of us has been blessed with unique talents that only we can offer the world. Discovering our talents and developing them to benefit those we live with, work with and work for is so important.

Key Verses:

  • Colossians 3:23-24: Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

  • 1 Peter 4:10-11: As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Family

To be the people that God has asked us to be, we need to assess how we lead and love our families and foster our key relationships. These are our responsibilities and it’s up to us to make sure that our relationships are healthy and honoring to God. Begin building your legacy today!

Key Verses:

  • Joshua 24:15: And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  • Psalm 127:1: Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

  • Deuteronomy 6:7-9: You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Fitness

It’s not about us - but it starts with us! Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and how we manage this temple can be an act of worship. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle allows us to be our best for everyone around us.

Key Verses:

  • 3 John 1:2: Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:23: Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Romans 12:1-2: I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
