Trevor Conner : Fitness

Trevor Conner was a 3-sport All-State athlete at Creston High School (lowa, 06) and went on to play NCAA Division Il baseball at Northwest Missouri State, where he was a three-year starting outfielder. He holds a Master's in Counseling with an emphasis in SportPsychology.

Trevor has trained some of the world's most elite athletes and teams at two of the country's most prestigious training facilities - over 70 Olympians, 37 professional athletes, and thousands of high school and collegiate athletes across a wide range of sports.

He's worked with athletes from over 70 countries and counting, and is most proud of his work with Navy SPECWAR groups, a division of Navy Special Operations.

Based in Houston, Texas, Trevor is the owner of Hearts & Minds LLC, a private consulting and coaching business, and the founder of the Focus 5 training app — a daily mental training app, launched in February 2022, that puts a live montal coach in your pocket through five disciplined minutes of brain training a day.

His work helps businesses, teams, schools, military units, and individuals raise their functionality, teamwork, performance, and profits through Sport, Military.

Counseling, and Positive Psychology. One of his foundational beliefs:

"You don't have to be sick to get better! There doesn't have to be anything wrong with you, your game, or your business to look for an edge to be better."

Trevor is the author of two published books - including Just A.C.E. It! - Controlling Life's Uncontrollables (2019) - with four titles now under the Hearts & Minds banner. He lives in Houston with his wife, Erica, and their two children, Gabriel and Kiara.

Steve Conzaman : Faculty

Steve Conzaman has served as Area Director for CBMC Northeast Ohio (Christian Business Men's Connection) since 2015, helping men integrate their faith & work and live as ambassadors for Christ in their workplaces.

A business graduate of Taylor University, Steve began his career in quality assurance before serving as a youth pastor for 11 years in Ohio and Michigan. In 2008, God led him back into the business world, where he worked as an independent insurance agent while also serving in marketplace ministry. That journey eventually led to an invitation to lead with CBMC—a position his wife describes as "the job he'd do if he won the lottery."

Today, Steve spends his time encouraging marketplace leaders one-on-one, supporting 40 NE Ohio mens groups, and helping organize evangelistic events each year, including the Cleveland Leadership Prayer Breakfast and Akron Leadership Prayer Luncheon.

Steve’s life verse is Ephesians 2:10 which says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works for which God has planned in advance for us to do. This Scripture has fueled him and as he leads others, realizing we are all uniquely gifted to accomplish what God has for us to do.

Beyond CBMC, Steve has been married to Shauna for 28 years and blessed with 3 kids (21,19, 15) who love God, him, each other, and their community. Their family has been deeply involved in their Copley schools, youth sports, and friendships. Steve coached Copley travel basketball for each of his children and alongside his son, recently started an FCA AAU basketball team. In his free time he also enjoys pick-up basketball and evening walks with Shauna in their neighborhood.

Glenn Make : Family

Glenn Manke has spent more than 40 years leading prayer gatherings, workshops, and mentoring people in their walk with Christ. At 79 years old, he continues to be passionate about helping Christians experience the healing, freedom, and abundant life found in Jesus.

Married to his wife, Jan, for more than 50 years, Glenn recently co-founded Back Porch Ministry, where together they help people Think Free. Live Healed. Walk in Christ's Love. Their ministry creates welcoming spaces for individuals to hear God's voice, find healing and restoration, and grow in their relationship with Christ through biblical teaching, prayer, and spiritual formation.

Whether speaking at churches, retreats, conferences, or leadership gatherings, Glenn's desire is to encourage and equip people to know God's love more deeply and to walk confidently in the freedom and purpose He has for their lives.

Together the site and its facilities serve as vehicles for teaching the wider community about sustainable living and care of this good earth.
